Open Access Publishing in SCOAP3 Journals

Under the SCOAP3 model, authors of high-energy physics articles worldwide can publish OA in SCOAP3 journals at no cost to themselves.

SCOAP3 is a partnership of over 3000 libraries, library consortia (including FinELib), funding agencies, and research institutions from over 40 countries. Managed by CERN, SCOAP3 funds Open Access (OA) publishing in High-Energy Physics (HEP) research and has converted key HEP journals to OA, in addition to supporting fully OA journals in HEP.

What do I need to do?

Just submit your article to one of the SCOAP3 journals. There will be no Article Processing Charge (APC) and you will retain the copyright of your work.

Artikkelin julkaiseminen avoimena Cell Press -lehdissä

FinELibin ja Elsevierin sopimuksen perusteella vastaavat kirjoittajat voivat julkaista avoimia artikkeleita ilman kirjoittajamaksua (APC-maksu, article processing charge) sopimuksen piiriin kuuluvissa Elsevierin Cell Press -lehdissä.

Avoimia artikkeleita on vuoden 2025 ja 2026 aikana käytettävissä rajallinen määrä.

Olenko oikeutettu maksuttomaan avoimeen julkaisemiseen?

Olet oikeutettu julkaisemaan artikkelisi avoimena maksutta, jos:

  • olet artikkelisi vastaava kirjoittaja (corresponding author) ja olet yhteydessä Elsevieriin vertaisarviointiprosessin aikana

  • organisaatiosi on mukana FinELib-sopimuksessa: Cell Press -tilaajat

  • artikkelisi on hyväksytty julkaistavaksi sopimuksen piiriin kuuluvassa Cell Press -lehdessä (xls) (lehtilistaan voi tulla muutoksia sopimuskauden aikana)

  • artikkelisi hyväksymispäivämäärä (acceptance date) on ajalla 1.1.2025–31.12.2026

  • artikkelisi on vertaisarvioitu, artikkelityypit:

      • full length journal articles
      • review articles
      • short communications
      • case reports
      • short reviews (surveys)
      • original software publications
      • data articles
      • micro-articles
      • protocols
      • replication studies

Näin saat edun käyttöösi

Kun artikkeli, jossa olet vastaavana kirjoittana (corresponding author) on hyväksytty, saat Elsevieriltä sähköpostin, jossa sinua pyydetään täyttämään Rights and Access form.

Elsevierin Rights and Access -lomakkeen täyttäminen

  1. Kohdassa Corresponding Author's Organization: kirjoita organisaatiosi nimi (englanniksi) ja valitse järjestelmän tarjoamista vaihtoehdoista oikea. Järjestelmä tunnistaa affiliaatiotietojesi perusteella, oletko oikeutettu avoimeen julkaisemiseen FinELib-sopimuksella.

Jos et löydä organisaatiosi nimeä, ota yhteyttä kirjastoosi tai tietopalveluusi, jotta saat apua asian selvittämisessä.

  2. Täytä tarvittaessa muiden kirjoittajien tiedot (co-authors) ja tutkimuksen rahoittajan tiedot (funder details).

  3. Järjestelmä tarjoaa sinulle julkaisuvaihtoehdot antamiesi affiliaatiotietojen perusteella.

APC-projektin loppuraportti julkaistu!

26.2.2021
