Open Access Publishing in SCOAP3 Journals

Under the SCOAP3 model, authors of high-energy physics articles worldwide can publish OA in SCOAP3 journals at no cost to themselves.

SCOAP3 is a partnership of over 3000 libraries, library consortia (including FinELib), funding agencies, and research institutions from over 40 countries. Managed by CERN, SCOAP3 funds Open Access (OA) publishing in High-Energy Physics (HEP) research and has converted key HEP journals to OA, in addition to supporting fully OA journals in HEP.

What do I need to do?

Just submit your article to one of the SCOAP3 journals. There will be no Article Processing Charge (APC) and you will retain the copyright of your work.

See the List of SCOAP3 titles (xls).

For more detailed author instructions, see SCOAP3 Journals: Author Guidelines.

Need support? Email your library. For more information about SCOAP3, please check SCOAP3's FAQs.

Is my journal compliant with Plan S?

All SCOAP3 journals are compliant with Plan S and with the Academy of Finland's OA policy and are listed in the Journal Checker Tool.
