Choose licence CC BY 4.0 (recommended, check with your funding body if you are required to publish under this licence) or CC BY-NC 4.0.
Creative Commons describes the CC BY 4.0 (ByAttribution) licence like this:
This licence lets others copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works and remixes based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits (attribution) in the manner specified by these.

This licence lets others copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and make derivative works and remixes based on it only for non-commercial purposes.
To get the 15% discount, click the “Apply Discounts” button.
In order for the discount to correctly apply, search for and select the main or parent institution ("University of XXX") rather than their particular department or sub-body (“University of XXX. Department of Mathematics”), (see picture below).
Depending on the author profile in AAAS’ manuscript submission system (CTS), there will sometimes already appear an institution in the affiliation discount field. The existing text may simply be deleted and replaced with the correct institution name.
Click the blue “Apply Discounts” button. If you are eligible for a discount, the reduction in USD will appear instead of “No Discount” text (see picture below).
Proceed to payment options by clicking on the blue “Next” button. You are presented the option to create an account or sign in to an existing RightsLink account. The information entered in the RightsLink account will be used to populate the billing statement. Once the transaction is completed, the RightsLink will confirm the completion of the order and payment.
If you use a credit card for payment, the confirmation will look like this (see picture below) and you will receive separate order confirmation and payment receipt emails.
If you request invoice, you will encounter the screen below and will receive the invoice via email within 24 hours of request.
