Medical Journals Sweden

Artikkelin julkaiseminen avoimena MJS:n lehdissä

FinELibin ja Medical Journals Swedenin (MJS) neuvottelema sopimus mahdollistaa kirjoittajalle maksuttoman avoimen julkaisemisen MJS:n lehdissä.

Kirjoittajalle ei siis lähetetä kirjoittajamaksua (Open Access Charge, Article Processing Charge), vaan sopimukseen osallistuvat organisaatiot maksavat tutkijoidensa maksut keskitetysti.

Sopimus on voimassa 31.12.2026 asti.

Olenko oikeutettu maksuttomaan avoimeen julkaisemiseen?

Kyllä, jos täytät seuraavat kriteerit:

Epäselvissä tapauksissa ole yhteydessä organisaatiosi kirjastoon tai tietopalveluun tai lähetä sähköpostia osoitteeseen invoice@mjspublishing.se.

Ohjeet vastaavalle kirjoittajalle

Step 1 - Manuscript submission

When submitting your paper, make sure you indicate the qualifying institution (the university, not the university hospital or the hospital district) as your primary affiliation and use your university email address or, if you don't have one, the one associated with your university hospital.

Step 2 - Manuscript acceptance

Once your paper has been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication, you will receive an email asking you to complete an online payment form.

  • APC payment options: Select "FinELib (consortium in Finland)". See the screenshot below.

  • Click “Nästa” to proceed.

  • Confirm that you have read and understood the eligibility criteria.

  • Provide the requested information including you institutional email address (again the university one or an email address associated with your university hospital).

  • If requested by your institutions, provide a payment reference or a project number. (This mostly applies to authors affiliated with the University of Turku.)

  • Click “Nästa” to proceed.

If your article complies with all relevant eligibility criteria, your APC will be automatically waived and covered by your institution.

Mikäli organisaatiosi ei hyväksy maksupyyntöäsi (ts. mikäli et täytä yllä mainittuja ehtoja), sinun tulee järjestää kirjoittajamaksun maksaminen muulla tavoin.
